Slow Cooker Easy Meat Sauce
Slow cook on low for 4 hours
Ingredients
- • 3 lbs ground beef
- • 1 large white onion, chopped
- • 1 large green bell pepper, chopped
- • 3 cloves garlic, minced
- • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
- • 4 (24 oz) Jars of your favorite sauce (& flavors of choice)
Directions
- Step 1 1. In a medium saute pan cook ground beef and onions until meat is browned and onions are soft and fragrant.
- Step 2 2. Drain any grease and add to the slow cooker.
- Step 3 3. Add in the green pepper, garlic, red pepper flakes, and Italian Seasoning.
- Step 4 4. Pour in the sauce, give it a stir, and cover and cook on low for at least 4 hours.
- Step 5 **Notes: this makes a big batch of sauce. Freeze in containers or ziplock bags in portions for other dishes.
