Sweet Potato Desserts
I have started thinking about the holidays coming and planning out what we might have for the meals. At Thanksgiving, we will have a big dinner at our church where we all bring the side dishes and the desserts. Then on Thanksgiving Day, we will have our dinner here at home with our married children coming over and helping with the meal. I like to cook for them, but we did raise our daughters to always offer to bring something to every meal they are invited to. Most of the time your hostess will decline and just want you to come to enjoy a meal prepared for you and your family and sometimes, they will take you up on the offer to bring something. Big family’s meals like Thanksgiving, I take my daughters up on the offer and have them bring side dishes and desserts. So, to help others who may be invited to a holiday meal at some point, I want to offer some help on deciding what to bring.
