Healthy Overnight Oats Recipe

“I also discovered that you don’t have to eat oats HOT!  I like this cold overnight oats recipe.  I would have never guessed that I would. “

I had never tried a healthy overnight oats recipe before but it came up in a food plan I was following. My husband always loves oatmeal and not the instant type. He loves good old-fashioned oats. I could never get used to eating them after growing up eating instant. If he made a pot of oatmeal, I would eat some but I had to add a lot of butter and sugar. That was not a healthy meal for me now that I am older. So this brings me to the point where I decided to follow a healthy meal plan online to try to improve my health and also lose some weight. It had a lot of healthy overnight oats recipes to try, so I jumped straight in and tried a recipe or two.  And guess what….. I love overnight oats!

I soon found out that if I add in fresh fruit I wouldn’t need the sugar. I love fresh fruit so I was ready to try this recipe that they had.  I also discovered that you don’t have to eat oats HOT!  I like cold overnight oats.  I would have never guessed that I would.  So I started trying different ways to make this healthy overnight oats recipe and I thought I would share it here with everyone. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
