Ingredients
- 1 sleeve saltine crackers (about 40)
- 1 cup butter (salted)
- 1 cup brown sugar packed
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup red and green chocolate candies (Like M&Ms) roughly chopped
Directions
- Step 1 Preheat your oven to 400F.
- Step 2 Line a baking sheet pan with parchment paper and coat with nonstick cooking spray.
- Step 3 Place an even layer of saltine crackers on the baking sheet.
- Step 4 In a saucepan, heat the butter and brown sugar over medium heat until bubbly, let simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Step 5 Pour the mixture evenly over the crackers.
- Step 6 Bake for 5-6 minutes, until you see it begin to bubble.
- Step 7 Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Allow the chocolate chips about 5 minutes to start to melt, then spread it evenly across the crackers.
- Step 8 Sprinkle the M&Ms across the chocolate.
- Step 9 Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 3 hours or you could freezer for about 30 minutes to allow it to set.
- Step 10 Once set, remove from the freezer and break into pieces.
