Boy, do we have some Nacho recipes for you! I don’t know about other families, but our family is all about NACHOS! We could eat Nachos just about every week and for any occasion. And we love to change up the recipe from time to time also.
I am noticing as our family has grown up and each one has different tastes or meal plan ideas, we are starting to research new ways to make Nachos or add or take away from our past recipes. Sometimes we will make up the basic recipe items and then offer different toppings or add-ons for each to individualize their dish.

There are many events or occasions for you to plan to serve Nachos. It could be for an easy weekend night supper, watching sports or a special movie on TV, or maybe it is time to celebrate a birthday or hold a family gathering. The great thing about serving Nachos is you can make this for a small family or a large crowd. And the prep-ahead is so easy, why would you not make Nachos! I find myself cooking several pounds of meat at one time just for Nachos and then freezing it in serving sizes that I think we will need. A tip for this planning is to prepare small freezer bags of meat for the smallest amount of people you might feed at one time so you don’t waste any and then if it turns into a crowd, thaw out enough for all that will be eating. It is just as easy to thaw out 2-3 bags as it is to thaw out 1. But thaw out a 3-pound bag and only 3 people are there to eat….. you will be eating Nachos for days or throwing out what is left over. So give some thought as to what is a normal meal at your house and fix freezer bags accordingly.
